Protecting Veterans from Fraud

Good afternoon,

The VA is thrilled to announce the launch of the VSAFE website, a coordinated online hub for information related to Veteran targeted fraud.   It may be found at www.VA.gov/VSAFE.

VSAFE utilizes insights across VA so that the Department speaks with one voice regarding fraud prevention and cultivates on-going partnerships within VA, stakeholders, and with Federal enforcement agencies. This initiative spearheads the VA response to unsavory actions against Veterans, their families, survivors, and caregivers.

The new VSAFE page provides a hub of resources to make it quick and easy to learn about how to recognize scams and fraud attempts, to get help if it has been experienced, and how to report.

We welcome wide sharing of this resource so please share this with your networks, Veterans, and families.
