The Kansas Commission on Veterans' Affairs Office mission is to provide Kansas veterans, their relatives, and other eligible dependents with information, advice, direction, and assistance through the coordination of programs and services.

Memorial Day Services 2021

Memorial Day, which is observed on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. In observance of the holiday, many people visit cemeteries and memorials, and volunteers often place American flags on each grave site at cemeteries across the country. Please join us as we honor the fallen at one of the four Kansas state cemeteries on Monday, May 31st, 2021. You can also take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of those who defended our nation. The following are the service start times at each state veteran cemetery:

Ft. Dodge -- 11:00 AM
Ft Riley -- 11:00 AM
Wakeeney -- 10:00 AM
Winfield -- 10:00 AM
